WWDC has historically been an event where the Cupertino, California-based company announced the iPhone and the next IOS software. In the event Apple introduced the iPhone 4, with new retinal screen and FaceTime applications, in the event last year around the same time in June.
IPhone 5, is reported to have entered the trial production, which is said to have a slightly larger screen size and metal case. The handset is expected roughly the same size and shape to the iPhone 4, with the placement of the camera and the keys are not changed.
However, Apple's own company is touting a more nature-centered software for this year's event, which is expected to introduce the company's IOS operating system 5, which is expected to be highly integrated with cloud-based services.
"At this year's conference we will reveal the future of the IOS and Mac OS," said Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president for worldwide product marketing, said in a statement.
Apple Mac OS X Lion, a new desktop operating system, also will get a large part of attention. Apple plans to bring more than a few features in IOS, including "Launchpad," "Mission Control" and multitouch movement, which displays a list of applications that run on desktop platforms.
This conference which lasted five days gathering of engineers and software developers to learn more about the Apple operating system, IOS and Mac OS X. WWDC 2011 will include more than 100 technical sessions presented by Apple engineers, with more than 1,000 developers are expected to attend. This conference will be held in San Francisco from 6 to 10 June 2011.
